Disease testing, vaccinations, worming, ear mite treatments, and spay/neuter surgeries all add up. This is not even counting the many injured, sick, or special needs cats we take in each year who need surgeries, amputations, and ongoing medications or vet care.
In 2024, we spent a whopping $108,051 caring for our rescued felines.
We spent an additional $21,671 on 389 spay/neuter surgeries to get ahead of cat overpopulation.
When more cats are fixed on a regular basis, we have fewer calls for help. We have a stray cat and kitten crisis in our community, but this DOES make a difference.
